Who is dantoy?

We are an exciting and inclusive workplace with a large group of employees. We have around 50 employees at the company itself, but we also have colleagues who work from home or in protected workshops to assemble our products. We experience great mutual joy in diverse collaboration.

We have 60 years of experience in designing and producing quality products, and dantoy is the preferred toy supplier for many institutions in the 50 countries where we are represented.

More about the Swan label

The world's first Swan-labeled toy is from dantoy. We obtained the license for the Swan label in 2010.

Swan-labeled plastic toys must meet the world's strictest requirements for plastic content. For example, Swan-labeled products must not contain harmful substances such as phthalates, perfume, BPA, or endocrine disruptors.

The Swan label sets requirements for safety, quality, and lifespan. All dantoy toys are designed to withstand play in institutions, which requires extra strength and quality in the product. This can be seen, for example, in the extra thickness of our toys, in contrast to many cheap products made of thin material.

The Swan label takes into account a product's life cycle. This means that the environmental impact is assessed from the product's "birth" as raw material to its "death" as waste, often to be recycled.

By meeting these requirements, a circular economy is ensured, and dantoy also contributes to several of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Quality and ISO certifications

High play value, child safety, and durable products are just a few of the essential facets that reflect the quality of dantoy's products. Good, safe materials are also a priority when measuring safety and quality.

The international ISO 9001 quality certificate, which dantoy has held since 1992, supports these statements. We conduct periodic evaluations to maintain the same high quality standard year after year. dantoy products are regularly tested and comply with the European Toy Safety Regulation EN71. Contact us if you need testing certificates.

dantoy's quality and environmental system ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 apply to dantoy's addresses at Sjællandsvej and Tåsingevej in Hobro and cover everything from development, order processing, procurement, planning and production, assembly and final inspection, to order dispatch.

dantoy aims to minimize any harm to the environment. We have implemented environmentally friendly processes to manage energy, water, and raw material consumption and to prevent any emissions during the manufacturing process. Our toys are made from raw materials without harmful substances. The use of Bio-Plastic for toy production helps minimize CO2 emissions compared to plastics made from fossil materials. dantoy's Bio-Plastic toys also carry the Swan label.

With the Swan label on our products, it means that dantoy must meet requirements in all processes throughout the life cycle. This aligns well with dantoy's international ISO 14001 environmental certification.

Ethical ideology

dantoy does not use child labor, either directly or indirectly. Additionally, we do not wish to collaborate with anyone who uses child labor. dantoy recognizes the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
